1.6 DOHC cylinder head on 2.0 turbo, valves?

Ok i am going to attempt to put a 1.6 liter DOHC head on my 91 tsi, the combustion chamber is smaller which going to rise the compression a little bit. The motor its going on has a fully built bottom end. My question is should i change the valves or springs or will they be allright?

well lets see im gonna bump the compression and see how it runs weather it makes good power. People try stuff and sometimes it works good, like the 2g small port head on a 6 bolt made 60 more whp at 2500 rpm's. And i think its worth it to try, u might not but i dont care what other ppl think about what im doing im gonna try this to see if its reliable, it might not, well see if i try it

What's wrong with your cylinder head now? I think your going to waste your money, know wait I'm telling you that your wasting your money. If you wanna bump up the compression ratio get different pistons. There's a reason no one puts the 1.6L head on the 2.0L block, and it's not because they want to be different? Have you ever even seen the 1.6L combustion chambers? I'm not trying to be mean or harsh, just telling you if you wanna waste some money, just take the head gasket out altogether and run the car with 87 octane in it and no line on the waste gate.

To answer your question, if it's the 4g61 head, the valves, springs, and retainers with be fine with the stock 4g61 cams....
