Im going to go to the track this weekend and was wondering with my mods, listed in my profile, what kind of 1/4 mile times should i be looking at? Also i am still not able to post in the racing forum or whatever because im not a proven member thinger. LOL

10.90's @ 130 mph easily....

You cannot even get an estimate of 1/4 times or hp , Sorry. There are too many factors that come in to play.

Haha! No i was just trying to get a rough estimate. This is with the best possible driving too. Just wondering what people with similar setups are running.

That bad!? Well i kept up with quite a few cars that have run faster 1/4 miles than that. Thats a pretty bad time considering its stock 15 flat.

According to your original post= "....what kind of 1/4 mile times should i be looking at?"
To me this sounds like bench racing. But we will let the mods determine that.:thumb:

bah, hes FWD. He should get probably around 11.20's, but trap around 132-135mph.

OK. Thanks to the 1 or 2 people who helped. The rest were just talking crap about fwd's as usual or complaining at me...to the few i thank you.

Easily;)

jibberishballr: I guess you did not notice that I also have a fwdWTF I was not making fun of your fwd car. I was saying that there is NO POSSIBLE WAY that ANYONE can determine even a rough time for what your car would run. It does not matter who they are.. I guess there is no way I can explain that though, So you can listen to whoever you want.

I guess you did not take my advice and just read through the 1/4 times list, And look for people with similiar set-up's to yours:boring:

Again, That is YOUR car, YOUR setup, And YOUR area with a different track, Conditions, Weather etc. You just cannot make blatent remarks like that in my opinion. Just take the car to the track and race it. And no, I'm not being mean or bashing you, I am trying to get the point across but it doesn't seem like you want to listen.

example.

my rx7 i can run anywheres between a 13.8 and 15.1. mostly consistant 14's now. but my friend drove it and pulled a 13.2. cant figure how the hell he did that... but with a turbo car, you can mess up a little and have a terrible run.

I ran a 15.6 with the mods in my profile. YES i know that that is an absolutely horrible time, but i had a lot of bad factors fighting against me. For one, it was my first time to the track all year. Then i had a huge boost leak, and could only build 4-5 psi which is obviously very pathetic. Also, my intercooler was plugged with all of oil the oil that builds up over time. So i know that it was kind of pointless going to the track knowing that i was alot worse than stock, but i just wanted to take it up there, then spend a few days making sure everything is right, then bring it up again and see how much i improved. Also, the thing that really pissed me off was that i pulled up to the line, then a complete 69' drag camaro pulled up next to me. The car was so loud, i couldnt focus at all. When i started off, i was wheel hopping and spinning so bad, but i had no idea that i was. I also couldnt hear my car or anything else, and obviously its hard to shift with precision and get a good time if you cant hear your car. So then i looked at my tach, and i was bouncing off of the rev limiter. So then i put it into second, and apparently i had to be going about 5 mph with alot of spinning because i just lagged and bogged for a long time in second gear. Then finally after he finished his race in about 9 seconds, and i could finally hear, i shifting into 3rd then just said "screw it" and kind of coasted in.

So i had everything go wrong that day, and finished with a 15.6. Once i can acutally hear my car and focus on racing, and since ive cleaned out my IC and fixed my boost leaks, i plan on running a high 14.
