I cant break the 15s WTF, this is ass.

MODS-N1 turbo back, injen intake, 1g BOV, walberro 255, FIC 650cc, dejon MBC, DSMlink, eprom ecu, AEM wideband, B&M short shifter, eibach sport line kit, GR2 struts,

why cant i get into the low 14s or even high 13s. i should be there with these mods. my launch was at 3750, i was at 12.671 at the 1000feet. my fuel trim is at 4.9 and i gave it more air, wideband reads at 13.4 to like 14.0. anyone have any suggestions on what to do.

just two quick questions one- would it not be wise to get a bigger turbo without a FPR and two- when i got my A/F down to the 11s-now 12.3,(gotta do a lil more fuel) do i mess with the AIR. should i add more air flow or leave it and just keep creeping up the fuel.

yea i have a registered LINK im on that web i just figured every other time i had a question, this web seemed to answer it faster.

EGT Is Exhaust Gas Temperature. there is a post in the tech i think on how to install it. i'll see if i can find the link.

The larger turbo without the AFPR will be the same as your T25, but you should really get the regulator first. It is very tempting to want to up the boost on a new turbo and not having your tuning up to snuff at 22 psi is a whole lot worse than at 15 psi.

OP.

You need to take your car down and get it tuned pronto.

You do not adjust your fuel by adjust the dead time and global. From what I have read, it sounds like you are on your way to popping your motor if you are running 13 afr on pump gas at WOT.

The information you will get on the dsmlink forums will be more accurate then on here. What is your username on link forums?

^^^
agreed. Plus on the DSMLink board you can post your logs, and people can see exactly what your car is doing, and point you in the right direction.

Now, now.

There are some quick folks on here that know link and ECM tuning as a whole. We even have a dedicated sub-forum where you can post logs. ;)

That said, I'd post it both places.

Not to offend, and I'm not downplaying the knowledge on this forum by any means. Hell, a very good friend is a a MOD here.

I actually do post issues on both forums, to include talk. Can never have to many people give their input on an issue.

255 lph for a t-25 ? sounds a bit too much for that little turbo, id be suffice with a 190. Why did you change your injectors ? I personally would have left everything intact untill you upgrade the turbo and just tune the car with the stock injectors. How much boost are you set at ?

, my LINK name is GSXeclipse. the only reason i upgraded to the 650s was becasue my car keeps comming up with an injector circuit malfunction, so i wanted the shop to fix that and put these in. but the code still comes up. as for adjusting the global and deadtime i didnt do that, what i did was move the tabs at each RPM up so that now my gauge reads at 11.4-12.8 somewhere in there, i upgraded because i was going to get a evo 3 16g right after i did that buuttt plans changed and im going to fl for spring break, this summer i am going to get a turbo so i figured i would try and get my car dialed in before i get it.

Your deadtime and global should be changed if they weren't already when you first bought dsmlink or put the injectors in. They should be -31% and 315.

12.8 is still too lean. You have DSMLink, why are you using the butt dyno? For a T25, I'd use a 50-70 or 60-80mph 3rd gear run (start at a lower mph so your turbo is already spooled). Measure the time it takes by reviewing your log, make changes and measure again (and try to make similar weather comparisons - a big difference between 40* and 70* weather).

I wasn't trying to make it look like there is nobody on here that can answer the questions. After all I know how to use dsmlink and am on here. What I meant was that there are quite a bit of guys on there(pretty sure more then here) that can answer just about any question when it comes to tuning. And some of the top guys on there won't or don't post on here or dsmtalk. I only know of one (jeffgst) that does and I think he recently just started posting on here since he only has 3x posts.

Is it possible to post datalogs on this site so they open like when posted on dsmlink forums? The only ones I have seen are just screen shots, but I think there is a way to convert the type of file. Then again I don't know how it would open if you did that either.

Ok I did a 3rd gear pull and the psi is between 17 and 18 and my A/F is 11.4-11.9. Should I add more fuel at 3K and above?

ok i will, well i am going to have to figrue out how to get a log onto my desktop, the laptop that i use sucks, i have to get a new one.

yea i hear ya, its like everyone always says , its all about the start. i just posted a log on dsmlink. im going to see what they say about what i have done, or what to do. thanks for all the help on this fourm as for another atco day i am going to tuesday the 25th if anyone wants to go down there

I dont know for sure, but after running lean like that for so long you might want to do a compression test to make sure it still holds compression.

Arent you knocking? I am sure there is a better tuning guide than what I am about to say, but I would start it at like 11:1 AFR and lean it out until knock gets too bad. I dont think you can go much past 11.5:1 on pump.

I looked on DSMLink's forum and didn't see your post. Where did you post it?

if you having an circuit malfunction code that pops up, you should check your wiring cause you can have a high risitance of some sort or losing a ground. i wish i could go the 25th.
