1st 1/4 mile time

today was the first time i ran the talon. i wasnt pushing it at all, just playing around so i didnt launch it and shifted at around 6500 (redline is around 8000) running @ 16psi. i had a bad 02 sensor and the steelies on with snow tires. got a 2.45 60ft' and 1/4 mile was 14.00 @ 103mph

nothin to brag about at all, what did u guys run first time?

next time i plan on getting some fd wheels and running at 20psi on race gas. let you know the results

My first 1/4 mile was in my 89 Shelby Daytona when I was 17. I had no experience on the track, but managed to run [email protected] mph with a 2.39 60' time. I am guessing I would have done better if I could have got traction, it would either spin or bog. The miles per hour were fairly good. I have since bought a 91 AWD Talon, but havent been to the track yet.

my first run was in a 95 stang and i managed to pull a 1.9 60 ft'. im just a lil edgey on launching AWD still

i would say that once you got a good FMIC your times should go up pretty decently. you have some nice mods there, so slap on a FMIC when you have the money and you should have a lot nicer times

The o2 sensor has nothing to do with WOT performance. If you could get a decent launch you would be well into the 13s.

my first time ever runnin any car was my 98 talon. i ran a 13.6@100 with a 1.9 60 foot. (14b with stock sidemount)

over winter im getting a new 02 housing, external wg, and FMIC. then im gonna try and run around 25psi with race gas. with a good tune i should get some nice times

my first time at the track this summer was in my 928 i got a 14.1 @ 98 with a 60' @2.224

since i have beefed up my tsi... and well see next season what it lays down.
