DUDE lets put the wing on the colt. How gangster

PS: the colt might be different by SO, I did wreck it a bit. And I do have a spare 6 bolt sitting... :)

She fired, and we broke in the cams for 30 minutes. A small idle adjustment and we took it for a test drive. After minor adjustments with Link, it seemed to be just fine. This was the first time driving it in 8 months.

Oh Paul...........

It seems you have forgotten to mention that one small detail when the car wouldn't start, or even crank, and you had to call me assistance?

I found that you took the ground strap that comes out of the wiring harness that is supposed to bolt through the trans bolt to the starter, and you just like bolted that ground strap to some random ground strap that you added in? You basically just had a looping ground connection that did nothing. We figured out and it then fired right up.

Just wanted to put that in there.

But we still love you. :)

Now you mentioned you had to adjust your idle, How exactly did you do this?

The reason I ask is, I am having trouble adjusting my idle and was wondering if you had some tips...

Thanks Dan. I had almost forgot about that. Dumb mistakes happen after long nights in the garage. ;)

I adjusted the TPS and BISS per Vfaq.

My idle wasn't bad though. Just a little high and a little bit of surge.

HAHA, yeah, that's the backseat out of the donor car. I still have it in the garage and still use it for this purpose. It also does a decent job at containing any leaking fluids from the engine.

I think this backseat has probably had more engines sitting on it than people. :D

ROFLROFLROFLROFLROFLROFL That was priceless. Awesome work Paul, that car definitely shows the time and effort that was put into the car. :thumb: You never thought about getting that CF rudora wing?

Its had your engine, my engine, and the engine from the race car. Also my transmission as well. The only person I remember sitting on it was Derrek, but thats when it was bolted to a board and hung from chains on the slider thing in the garage....then we pushed him as fast as we could into the wall. God, the things beer will help you come up with... LOL

looks sweet as usual Paul, I love threads like this!

Thanks for the intake again btw

Very great job done!!! Props for you and your buddies that helped you out.

I send a link of this thread to a friend of mine who's thinking about doing the FWD - AWD swap too. So far this is the best write up I've seen for the FWD - AWD swap.

Keep us posted
