02 to Downpipe Bolt size and info...

I'm doing ym O2 dump install this week and i was wondering about parts ill need. I was told to get the bolts that bolt the O2 to the Downpipe. My question is, what size are these. I was told 16x6 from Mitsu, but im not sure. Also do i _NEED_ them? If im extremely careful taking out the old ones, will they work just fine? And what are the chances they will break?

I can't remember what size the oem bolts are, but i think they are 17mm, but don't hold me on that. Thats at least what I replaced my 02-to-downpipe bolts with. Just go to a hardware store and replace those old rusted bolts with some high grade stainless steel ones.

Spray the hell out of those bolts with PB or WD40 the night before so that its easier to get those bolts out too. Good luck!

I don't know the size, but using the stock ones is fine. Just check the threads before you but it back together and if you can't turn the nut all the way, buy hand, then get new ones. It should thread easily. Ya, just be careful taking it off, let PB blaster sit overnight, a little heat, and a breaker bar.

I have all teh gaskets i need (im doing my exhaust manifold too)
