Hey guys, just installed my evo 3 16g, and evo 3 o2 ported housing, but the downpipe doesnt sit flush. theres an opening. How can I get that to fit right?

The EVO III O2 housing outlet flange sits at a slightly different angle than stock, you will need to modified your DP to fit or buy a DP specifically for the housing. Should have research before you went with the o2 housing.

Im not sure maybe try to bend it. My mechanic made my exhaust and said he had to do it a little different for the pitch of the 16g. How big is the gap, causing you to have louder or smelly exhaust. IF not I would not worry about it.

oldman : how can i modifty my exhaust? bend it?

Jayrolla: its not all put together. so i havent even started the car yet.

You'll probably need to have a shop cut the flange and re-weld. RRE sells a DP for the EVOIII O2, I would give them a call and ask to be sure.
