Ok so i just found out my O2 Sensor went. What i was wondering is what does the 02 Housing do and or used for. Also is it hurting the car by not getting a new o2 sensor right away. Please help :)

It is hurting your gas milage alot actually if you don't change your o2 sensor because it's not seeing the accurate air curves. Go ahead and change it soon personally. ;)

The "Purpose" of an o2 housing I guess would be to actually house the o2 sensor somewhere int he exhaust system and where better to connect and log than right behind your turbo (which affects the exhaust greatly). I don't know what you mean by the "purpose" of it tho but Hope this helps.
