Steinbach,
im looking at gettin an 02 housing to complete my setup and i wanted something that would bolt up to my apexi downpipe and my sbr or stock mani would would be the best one to buy for a reasonable price?

does your apexi downpipe bolt to your stock o2?

your downpipe does not bolt to your manifold btw :shhh: :tease: it goes like this .. mani > turbo > o2 > downpipe.

if you answered yes to the first question, you have a million options. Victory performance, punishment racing, SBR, custom, etc...

Buying 2g o2 housing and porting it is always a good idea, and it's usually a whole lot less $$ then a tubular one. It really all depends on your budget. The tubular should flow a little better but they are usually a lot more money too. I just picked up 2g o2 housing on Ebay and it's in really good shape.

yes but some companies make the manifold longer so that a larger turbo can fit... which wouldnt change much i think.. but still....

i too am looking for an o2 housing, are there any internally dumped ones that have a main runner internal diameter of 3 inches all the way through? that bolt up to the stock mitsu turbine housing? and which downpipes would i be looking at to go with this o2 housing? i would like to get a buschur dnpipe and cat back, with a buschur high flow cat, all 3 inch, but i dont know if the buschur is a 2.5 inch before the flex section, 3 inch after downpipe, or a full 3 inch downpipe...which ones are?

not unless you have your own MIG/TIG welder ;) either that, or the local shops don't screw you for labor (like mine do, damn f*ckers  )
I'm with you, I spent the money for my own MIG welder and built my own with parts from JC whitney (304SS Tube) and flanges from Road Race,
