02 housing question!!!

I have a friend with a stock 1g. He wants to add a 3¨ turbo back exhaust. He has some friends who told him, that the bottleneck is the 02 housing. I told him that by porting the stock 1g housing he would be ok. He plans to upgrade to a 16g or similar anytime soon. The question basically is, would he creep? is it really necessary? Or he can spend the money elsewhere? I told him he doesn´t need a 3¨ o2 housing which he plans to add, but since he doesn´t believe me, he wanted me to post this to read opinions.

my 14b on a tubular o2 housing didnt creep at all, and I didn't have an o2 dump, it was just replumbed.

For the price, those stainless o2 housings do a good job if you ask me. You can score one up for like 50-80 bux, and it looks good and get the job done.

the 3" o2 housing isnt necissary, but for the price, why the hell not? if hes going to do turboback, he might be interested in an o2 elim system, thats just a straight pipe from the o2 to the dp to the exhaust, the only problem there being, if he goes from a mitsu turbo to garrett, it wont bolt up.
