Hey guys I'm trying to figure out if i should keep the EGR valve or delete it?
Last weekend I had to use my 96' GST for work and driving 170miles out of town for the week I only used a little over a quarter of a tank of gas. Coming back home for the weekend the car consumed way more gasoline than normal. I noticed at 70miles out my gas needle was literally dropping like a clock. I stopped by the gas station around 90miles out and my tank gauge was close to being half way. I made it back home with the gas consumption more normal at a quarter tank. I always had the EGR valve check engine light on.
I'm debating if I should go ahead and delete the EGR system and plug up the hoses or just order a new Fuel Pressure Solenoid off eBay?
