Yes that was more usable than this. This website is trying to be modern without the modern features. It just severally undercooked. That old website was old but I could navigate it.

Have to say I kind of agree after perusing a bit, but haven’t been on there much yet.

What are the main issues? I noticed you really have to use the filters now when drilling down to products for your car. The old browsing experience allowed you to choose a vehicle generation, which was nice. Now you have to enter year/make/model then use the category filters.

Noooooooooo....what did they do to the old school layout and interface? I loved it! i just ordered something from them like 2 months ago and it was fine AS IS. This new one will take a little bit getting used to. At least the order history still remains. I am impressed though that the prices for FIC injectors have remained pretty static in over 20 years. They should cost way more than they are selling them for today. $355 for a set of 850cc in 2004.

I imagine just like with most e-commerce platforms, they were going to have to update to the latest version of the system they were using, if for nothing else than security purposes. Sometimes the newer versions don't allow for easy replication of older legacy design/navigation. They were using a 20 year old layout format that was bad on mobile. That said, the goal is always to make things easier to use, not more difficult. Though you can never keep everyone happy with software updates, I know that all too well.

If you guys want them to improve, give them specific things you feel they're lacking and I bet they'll try to implement it. I gave them some feedback myself and they welcomed it and said they'd work on it.

My biggest feedback is that you have to spend way too much time scrolling until you put the site into catalog mode once you finally notice it. Frankly, it would be better if that was the only mode instead of screen, after screen, after screen, after screen, after etc........

The catalog mode has a look, feel and speed that long-time regular customers are more comfortable with and find what they're looking for quicker when they have a list of parts.
