Has anyone has any experience with the blue FIC 1440 HI Z injectors? I cannot get my global and dead time numbers to look quite right. Followed spec sheet that came with injectors.
Anyone care to share numbers on setup? Currently running a new wabro 255 rewired. 8an lines supply and return. and fuel labs regulator set at 43.5 psi. FIC injector rail.

If they came with the data card you should be able to enter that into direct access and zero your deadtime in the fuel tab.
I have done that and it does run decent starying point for idle and cruise but when I start tuning wot I run lean and my VE is already around 105 and have to add fuel way off of the global number suggested by the built in calculator on link. I believe it wantsmiy global to be 1330cc and I also run e85 which I've factored in as well. I know It will help if i upload a log i will have to do another pull here shortly and share.

1330 isn't very far off. My calculator number using FIC 1650cc injectors is 1495cc/min.

For E85, your calculator number for stoic ratio should be 9.8 rather than 14.7.
9.8 there will give you a richer global number, and it would be the same number you'd get from the E85 section of the base injector data wiki page if that page had a row for 1440cc injectors.

Or there might be a slight difference in how the 1440cc injectors are measured by FIC, like there is with the 1650s. You can read what ECMtuning has to say about that in the 1650 section on this page. I don't know if the 1440s are like this too.

But yeah, post a log.

The global calculator is only a starting point, don't worry about it being off unless it's like 50% off. Alternator output, fuel filter condition, FPR gauge accuracy will all play in. In the end the car needs what it needs, listen to it.

I had the exact problem you’re having with those injectors, I thought maybe I had an ecu issue since my 850cc injectors before this seemed way off too. I had to mess with the global and deadtime a lot to really dial it in. I’ll have to dig up my tuning laptop to get you my settings.
