Before you put the ISC in, what was there? Was it just an open hole? That would have let more air in. But letting more air in at the throttle body doesn't hurt much when you are speed density. It would if you were MAF.Well that's awesome...

My spare chassis is fighting crime. A degenerate was starting random fires in our area and now there is an investigation. In between starting one fire and starting another across the street from my shop he got in the Talon and played racecar...

This is the kind of thing I've been suspecting. The goofiness of the signals from the MAP and wideband could come from something like this I would think. And maybe the goofy signals from the TPS too?Would it help any to get pictures that are...

These might be useful as well. I haven't checked to see if they are different from the later cars or not, but if people are looking, having the power distribution diagrams right here might help. You must be registered to see element. You must be...

I posted these a while back in You must be registered to see element. but perhaps you didn't find them. You can see on page 73 that the MPI relay sends power when it's on to the ECU and to circuits off that page marked "A" which is on page 75...

    · 10 926
Like Brian says, the case doesn't need to be grounded, it doesn't hurt but it's not required since the wiring harness provides the ground connections.Fault code 14 can be from several things. The ECU checks to make sure that the TPS voltage is...

MD166262 6578M non-EPROM ECU converted to support ECMLink. I assume you have the screws and retainer that attach the PCB to the case. The retainer that holds the EPROM conversion board down so it doesn't wiggle off it's socket.Quite a bit of...

What is the part number of the cover, please so I can update my list. It's interesting in that it's an NT ECU but has a knock sensor. The US NT cars don't but I've heard that some of the non-US cars do because of fuel and tune differences.You...

There are multiple grounds out of the ECU harness that connect to the frame. As above, the ECU case does not need to be grounded.

What do you mean by just spin? I am not sure how the situation is, but that sounds something is not right. If you put the sprocket in the correct position by matching the both side flat part (D shape), the shaft shouldn't spin while you are...

The ECU is mounted to the steel radio frame by 3 screws and the radio frame is mounted to the body so if it needed to be grounded it would be. But I have ran multiple cars with the ECU laying on the passenger floor boards while working on them...
