Could be the timing jumped or so for some reason. Since we can't see the crank position in the video, we can't tell how much amount exactly off, but anyways at least it seems 3 cam gear teeth out of phase in that video. That's we can say for sure.

If this is a still shot the timing is definately off. First order is correct it and run a leakdown.

It ran fine before winter... not sure how it would be out of time now. But who knowsI unplugged the map and no gauge change just stayed -6 so might be a gauge issue since that sends the reading to link.

Hard to tell by only that video, but I can hear and see that the mechanical valve timing seems to be off, like at least cams are about 3 teeth out of phase. Should double check for the timing. You must be registered to see element.

You must be registered to see element. No goo on the filter, lots of specs tho, it’s definitely dirty, I feel like maintaining a high output car on e85 will always be higher maintenance, but its worth it:rocks:

The goo was in the outlet end, with the end of that feed line exposed to air after being disconnected from the rail, the mystery is if it was there before I pulled the engine/rail. The 10 micron filter connects to the inlet of the filter housing...

the gauge itself shows -5(ish) with key on and I think it goes to -7 when cranking.Ive heard these gm sensors go bad often if the nipple doesnt point down. That would sure be an easy fixYou must be registered to see element.

Do you have an engine picture? 2g 4g64 cars are very similar to the 4g63, just different heads, a few more coolant holes in the block and 6mm taller than 4g63.

Yeah, it is a mess right now for sure. And then I wonder if everyone is going to get hit with a tariff charge when/if they finally do get here.

No one wants to deal with all the extra bullshit to ship to the US now, every item needs an HS code, which can be a PITA to find the correct 10 digit code that corresponded to the type of product. I just had to figure it out for a viscous coupler...

So before you start cranking the MAP should measure 0 psi or inHG and your says -6.1. With your mods and Ft. Collins altitude I don't have any idea what your cranking vacuum should look like but I know it shouldn't be the same as when you're not...

Thanks for the goo pics. I haven't checked my filter from 2022 yet. Are we looking at both ends of the filter housing there? Goo in both ends? How did the actual element look? How long did the car sit anyway?

Looks like it fits together real nice but clearance to the alternator, how is that? Will you be able to put an O2 sensor in there or would it run into something?
