So I live in Va Beach, Va, and am moving to either AZ or NM in octoberish time frame. I am thinking about taking out my A/C system being as the comp pump does not work any way, my question to all you guys out there with out an A/C that live in this type of weather place is: Do you regret taking it out?

if your dsm is your daily driver, then i would definitely leave the a/c in and fix it. if you have something else to drive around and to work every day in the mid day heat, then remove it all.

personally my 1g is not my DD, its just a toy for nights and weekends, so i dont regret not having a/c a single bit. im actually planning to remove the heater core and everything behind the dash like my crashed red laser was.
but i can remember when my old laser was my only car, with no heat, no a/c, no defrost or blower motor, and it wasnt all that fun when its 102 outside (or when it was 20 in the middle of winter).

I live in North Dakota and I would never take my A/C out. There really isn't any point in removing it if it isn't strictly a track car.

Yea there's that, and the fact that I seem to be able to tolerate heat better than most. I installed and repaired residential HVAC equipment for 5 years in the sweltering summer heat. I guess my body made a thermostat adjustment?

Cool guys. Thanks for your opinions. Like I said before I just didnt want to go through all that hassle for nothing.
