91 talon with a new CF Dual Friction clutch and OEM TOB and also put the washer under the pivot ball about 6k miles ago. Ive had no problems what so ever except the occasional 2nd gear grind if speed shifting it fast down the track. The clutch grabs well, still get 2nd gear chirp. Well i noticed this spring there was some leakage on the Master Cylinder so i decided to replace them both out. Well now my problem (and ive looked at other posts with nothing that ive seen of the similar problem) is that after the swap i have problems getting it to go fully into gear (especially 1-2). It will go 3/4 or more then i just hit like a stop in the shifter. If i let out on the clutch and then try again it eventually goes into gear. I have bled the lines twice with help and looked for leaks with none found. I also just tonight took apart the tranny linkage and cleaned and greased it and still the same thing. I also tonight was bored and tried the extended slave rod (yeah i know im not supposed to do that but i wanted to see if that resolved it) with no luck there either so i put it back to the stock rod. Im wondering and this is my question i guess, Could it be the syncros? But what i dont understand is why after the master and slave replacement is it now all of a sudden doing it? I would also like to mention i have the solid shifter base bushings and the bearing replacments for the tranny linkage. Thanks for any help in advance!

Sounds like you didn't adjust the rod (or do it correctly) on the Master Cylinder. You know, the one that connects to the pedal assembly under the car.

There's a procedure in the manuals.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Just replaced mine too, and had to thread that peice on. Didn't use the book but I used the old rod as a refference. Check your pedal travel again.

Well im pretty sure its the syncros because i put the 1/4" extension rod back on the slave and also welded a nut on the back of the adjuster for the master cylinder to give it a few extra turns and now the clutch releases about mid pedal travel but i am still getting the not wanting to go into gear but it seems like not as often. Its either that or my clutch is gone but with only 7-8k i would hope not. Here in a month or so i guess ill just tear down the tranny and put new syncros in.

I have checked that also while i was under the dash undoing the master cylinder and it has no play whatsoever.
