yes another boost leak question

I'm having a problem with a boost leak thats been evading me I knew there was a leak in the tb gasket so i fixed that but the car is still pulling too much vacuum at idle also it seems like the car won't start when the temp outside drops below freezing. Anyway we decided that the boost leak had something to do with it so I get it back in the garage and do another test now I get a leak at the vc breather and the dip stick. Just looking for some input.

you probably need a new pcv(on the back of the VC)

too much vac? Thats a new one for me. What kind of reading are you getting?

sorry i ment not enough it's pulling about 15hg before it started this it would pull about 20

Do a boost leak test. You might have developed a nasty boost leak. If you dont have access to a boost leak tester or dont know how to build one, use a can of starting fluid and spray a little around the suspected area while the engine is idling. If you get a change in RPM, you found your leak.

I actually did one tonight, and found a small one on the coupler right before the throttle body. It started to leak at around 5 psi. Im trying to imaging what its like when im wot at 20 psi. The car ran fine with no symptoms but it was something in the back of my mind i wanted checked.
