Year old E85, use 91 or fresh E85?

Long story short, car blew up and got a new motor put in. I could never get it running right and I realized it's sat for nearly 11 months with the same tank of E85. I just drained it today, my question is:

Should I run E85 right away or should I just go with 91 for right now to help clean out the system before tossing some corn back in?

I put some 91 in after draining the corn, started it and it wouldn't idle for anything. It was incredibly lean so I had to richen it up in link. I'm at -40% global with 91 pump, fuel pressure is good, and it STILL idles at 15.1-15.7 AFR which is pretty awful.

AFREst is 7.1 with the 1200cc injectors at idle, but it idles great even though it should be too rich to start. If I smoothly give it throttle, the RPMs rise nicely. But, if I blip the throttle and give it a little WOT tap it sputters and I notice the WB flickers rich (10.2ish).

Think the E85 clogged up the injectors? Any ideas besides a boost leak (which is it has a very small one, but not enough to cause the above symptoms).

No, I dont think the E85 clogged your injectors. You can't run an E85 tune with pump gas and expect good results.

For starters, your injectors are not scaled properly. Your global needs to be around -61% and deadtime should be in the 400-500 range. And of course you'll need to adjust both accordingly.

Right, I tried that and I'm saying the car ran horribly. I originally set it at -60% (I've read the PTE 1200s are more like 1120). The idle AFR was maxed on my MTX-L at 22.4(?) and it would barely run. I shouldn't have to use MAFComp this significantly (+20%) on a stock unhacked MAF. I don't have an E85 tune, it's a base tune with only the proper settings changed so I can get it running and go through the steps of a proper tune.

Would a clogged filter affect fuel pressure at all? I was thinking I could be "goo"ing it up with the old E85.

I appreciate the replies and will check back in with results as I work on it.

BTW, I can't get a log for another 18ish hours but I'll try to so you can see what I'm saying.

Okay, but what about the deadtime?
