WTF! I can not get rid of this knock ?

Okey this is really starting to pisss me off, I am getting knock as soon as I hit fool boost around 40counts of it. After the car gets hot it knocks all the time even at part throttle but as you give it full throttle it will die off them come back up to 40counts when it gets to full boost this is worse the higher gear you are in. I really dont no what it is, it cant be a fuel problem because I just replaced the fuel pump with a new walbro and rewired it. I also replaced the fuel filter, knock sensor, o2 sensor, and cam angle sensor. Im running 45psi of fuel preasure and zero across the board on my afc so by no means should it be rich. Phantom knock? If you guys can give me anyhelp it would be greatly appreciated im stumped

Boost leak tested the car recently? It is possible that you have a leak that is overworking the turbo and heating the air charge up alot.

Check base timing? Should be at 5*btdc

It is possible that you are running too rich and getting knock from that as well. Tried tuning the car?

Tunning the afc has no affect on the knock, base timing is correct, i have tried testing for boost leak but my coupler is to big for my turbo but soon as I can find one im going to do it again

Fuel pressure seems to be set high. 1G's should be around ~37psi. Also, I would run an AFPR with a Wally 255. What are your O2 readings like in third gear?

An over tighted knock sensor will cause false readings. Try tighting it by hand then a 1/4 turn with a wrench.

Ok ill try that. I tryed leaning it out on the afc because there is no way it should have to run +10 just to keep it from knocking with my fuel setup. But sure enough when I leaned it out to about -10 it was knocking at part throttle, so I turned it back up and now it only knocks at full boost again. Im getting really fed up with this im just prob gona drop it off to extreme motorsports and get them to fix it and dyno tune it. Right now it feels like it's got a long way to go be4 its going to be an 11sec car

While this may not be an issue at different rpms they may be causing more noise which is false knock. Just a thought.

So do you guys think that extreme motorsports would have any problem fixing this and getting the car running like it should be? The charge $70hr for diganostics I would hate to drop the car off there and have it take them 10hr or something to fix it that would suck. Anyways I made an apointment I guess they are pretty backed up cause they couldnt take me to april secound. Hopefully it will be worth the wait and the can get the car making 400whp. To tell the truth I would be willing to spend and arm an a leg just to get the car running right after all I have been through. So hopefully everything works out.

might be a bad o2 sensor. causes a messed up a/f mixture in closed loop mode.
