So I put in new headlights today and drove to my mechanics so he could patch up a small oil leak i had. 3 minutes after I left the car died all of a sudden. The car turned but wouldn't start so I got it towed back to my house. The timing belt was squeaky all week so I figured the belt jumped or something relating to that. Just incase it was something else I did a spark test when i got home. When I was checking the 3rd plug my engine made a loud ass popping sound and I'm pretty sure air blew out the cylinder.:ohdamn: Im thinking that all of this is pretty bad but does any1 have any ideas as to what happened?

Sounds like it jumped time and maybe bent some valves.

what do you mean by checking the 3rd plug? do you mean taking it out of the car? or checking it with a meter?

its more the popping sound I was worried about..
another thing. I pulled the valve cover off to try and inspect the valves without pulling the head. What i found was that 6 of the valves on the intake side were higher than all of the other valves. The tops of the valve wobbled when I touched them too. Bent valves?
(sorry for the basic vocab, kinda new at this)

Ill try and post some pics if you guys need that too.
