i bought a cheap set of lowering springs off of ebay a few months ago and the rear springs fit. the front springs are so big that they dont even fit in the strut tower. i thought that they were cheap and thats why they dont fit. so i bought a set of megan springs off of someone on this board and they ended up having the same size front springs as the cheap ebay kit. they are 6.5 inches in diameter. just to make sure i didnt put them on backwards the big springs go on the front and the little ones on the rear right? would it be alright to take "rear springs" from both kits and put them on the front and rear?

no. Front and read have different "compression rates". I really hate to say it, but you get what you pay for. Other than a FMIC I bought for a friend, I have had nothing but problems with ebay performance parts. Spend the extra and get a real set of lowering springs. I have some Skunk2's if need be. Brand new.

actually, the bigger springs go in back, at least on the 2g. Save for shocks, lowering the car too much without them will destroy the stock shocks/struts, make the ride terrible and possibly make handling worse even with the crappy ride.

yeah, i wouldnt trust ebay with something as important as suspension parts...

You have to be careful when buying peformance products off of ebay. I bought some tein stechs off of ebay once and they were fake. They were counterfitted springs. The good news was that I got my money back.:thumb:

no, they will work fine with the kyb agx's actually they will ride excellent. double check that the fat diamiter one goes in front, because on my suspension technique springs the skinny one was up front and the fat one was on the back, now on my pro-kit it is about the same. This should also give a nice rake to the car without being overkill of any sorts. :rocks: :dsm: post some pics when the job is done, and if you didn't know, you will need spring compressors (like $30 at napa)
