Ok this is my first dsm,im definately a honda guy never owned anything else except for yota and nissan mini trucks.ive had 3 accords,2 crx,a 95 civic coupe,93 civic sedan,2 preludes. so as u can tell imma honda guy.I just bought my first eagle talon tsi. Its an awd but the guy put a front wheel drive tranny in.now just need fwd flywheel and starter.ive drove the car once and its decent quick.plans are new turbo,intercooler,piping,bigger exhaust and try to put it back to awd some day(in no hurry).


so just wanted to say hey and introduce myself

Side note: AWD for the win. You'll just laugh everytime you see a FWD (or RWD) after having major power behind 4 wheels. No offense to FWD ppl. or RWD ppl., but I'm serious, ask anybody

Edit: Not to say FWD or RWD cars can't be super fast, but just wanted to make clear that AWD will blur your vision and leave your passenger in a dumbfounded state of fear. The few that have rode in my ride said they couldn't think straight or see straight: during acceleration. It's "insane" to put it frankly. And I "only" have less than 300 awhp. The 14b does spool rediculous, so maybe that's why they freaked.......Either way, when you can run 12's in the rain......Damn.

i have the awd tranny but bellhousing is cracked so the guy put in a fwd tranny...if that makes sence to you

Gotta do what ya gotta do. I wasn't tryin' to "down" a certain set-up. Just wanted to let you know that AWD is the coolest thing you can ever have in a vehicle. Trucks included. Try having some fun with a Duramax diesel, twin turbo, with 4wd ingaged, wow those trucks are fast. I just figured sense you had the AWD platform that I would coax you along and highly recommend putting it back to OEM.

Welcome to DSM's, you won't regret it. Well you might, and people might talk smack, but once you settle in to them you'll realize how much of a "brotherhood" there is behind these rare, and under-appreciated machines. yeah i definately want to go back to awd someday,but until then fwd will work.its my first boosted car.Never wanted to put a snail on any of my hondas. now i kinda regret it



also i read up on the skateboard mod.how good is this?its the first time ive ever heard of it.whats it for?
