To me it kind of sounds like someone was trying to take a dive for insurance money.

In my neighboorhood you would be lucky to have someone gapping out the front window to see someone run into the street and get hit by a car.

It really sounds like the guy wanted to get hit by a car so he can file a claim against your auto insurance. With a decent lawyer you should no issues unless of course you didn't have insurance, registration, and driver's license.

Really tho what is sounds like to me is...

so this is what happened to my dsm thursday august 11th 2011.
im not gonna go into detail but

someone ran out in front of me and i couldnt avoid them and messed my dsm all up.
(this was a human, not a car)

(Some random person ran into the street and was hit on accident, That part could be a little off, seeing as DSM aren't very quiet. There really wouldn't be skidmarks since he should have only been going 25 mph.)

i got my car impounded lost my lisence, phone and both my jobs
and went to prison....oh and did i mention i got charged with aggrevated battery?

(By prison he meant jail, lost his license because either he didn't have his insurance or license, or in combination with the cops being serious about aggravated battery)

Well lets hope things work out seeing as how i couldnt avoid him and trust me i TRIED.

(Right here he says he tried, so why is everyone bashing a fellow DSMer?

From experience, unless you where there, no point in speculating since you weren't there; you'll only make things worse. Either way, OP you're better off keeping this off tuners for legal reasons. Wish you best of luck if this was indeed an accident (but in most cases of pedestrian vs car, the pedestrian will win unless an insurmountable quantity of proof goes in your favor), does sound like a bad day if it was.

Glad to see the OP is not locked up. Or at least wasn't for his last post That's definately a good sign to all those who think it was intentional. Hope the judge release you and not bail. Bail is a waste of money, but it is nice to have the freedom. And OP should delete this thread. Without more information opinions will be too scattered in both good and bad directions. I'm interested in what happens, so maybe after all is said and done come back (hopefully you can) and start a thread and explain more on how things really went down. Good luck either way!
