would this throw a CEL?

My car has still been smoking after my blown turbo upgrade, and i just want to know if leaking valve seals, guides, or a bad headgasket, would throw a CEL of some kind? I'm not reading anything that's why i'm wondering.

No. The only way a bad head gasket would throw a CEL would be if it causes the car to miss.

if your valve seals are bad and there leaking youll loose compretion and wount fire then throwing a cel i just had this happen to a freind of mine he had a chip out of a valve and lost everything

is that so? i have solid 180 compression when warmed up. there is oil in the exhaust ports and a little bit on the tips of the spark plugs.

o and another thing: my low coolant light is always on, even when my collant is filled to the brim...
