i installed my new 16g turbo and i wonder what would happenn if i switched up the coolant lines?

Nothing. The coolant still flows threw the center cartridge of the turbo to cool the oil and the turbo. Its extremely hard to get the water lines back wards for the turbo thow IMO.

nah i chnged my turbo and it started smoking like crazy... nd i wanna to know if i switched to line would tht cause it to smoke

hmmm If I could understand you I would give helping a try! I will take a stab at it! Was the turbo new or used and what kind of condition? What color is the smoke? I doubt water lines is going to be the problem.

well if his installation is as messy as his typing then... haha jk man.. well for starters.. where is the smoke coming from? and everything crashman stated.. you need to give details so we can have some sort of idea.

Yes, white smoke would be water/coolant, but I doubt that is the problem. If the turbo is worn out, it will leak oil into the exhaust which will burn and put blue smoke out the exhaust.

Does is smoke out of the engine bay or the exhaust pipe? My car smoked under the hood for a better part of a day while it burned off all the PB plaster I shot around in the engine bay and other random drips and drops of fluids that landed on "get hot" parts. I was slightly paranoid that day for sure LOL

My car smoked as if I was seafoaming it. Problem turned out to be antifreeze that got through the flex pipe. The coolant chamber on the Turbo has no seals or any way to leak into the exhaust
