I just got a 93 talon tsi about 2 months ago. been slowly working on it. i got it all tuned up and started lastnight. i have some coolant leaks on the hard lines that come off the turbo. and one that goes down to the oil filter. can someone tell me where i can get the lines and the best way to replace all the rusted ones. should i just take the turbo off and the manifold so i can get to them easier???

It's not easy replacing the lines with everything intact. You might start by pulling your fans and radiator for accessability. Diamondstarmotorsport.com has all the maint. stuff you'll need.

The line that goes to the oil filter I had to replace about a year ago. I got it through the dealership. It was a pain because there aren't many out there. It might be best to get stainless steel braided lines. For installation, I had to remove the filter and had to really cram my hands in there to get it on. It's a tight fit. I hope you don't have huge hands.

I recommend ordering the coolant lines through the dealer (or a vendor like JNZ) to get the OEM stuff. When my rubber coolant line split going from the water pipe down to the OFH I just took it off and went to the local car parts store to get one that matched the size, then cut it to length. Problem is, the OE's are pre-curved and the stuff you buy at the car parts store isn't so it's just a straight.

About a month after I installed it I almost stranded myself on the freeway because that line was rubbing on my downpipe and it melted the hose, had it been bent like it was supposed to that would have never happened. Lesson learned.
