would a stage3 dsmchip work with stock injectors?

i just want the studderbox at the moment and dont have the money to upgrade anything else yet. would the fuel compensation factor disable me to use a stage 3 chip? and i dont want a stage2 chip and then having to upgrade it later.

ive searched and couldnt find anything. maybe im a bad searcher?

Considering your car is bone stock according to your profile, I would follow the upgrade path in the tech guide. However you could get the stage 3 dsmchip if you absolutely wanted to, but i wouldnt recommend it. Your stock clutch wouldnt take that for very long garanteed. He could set you up with a stage 3 and not mess with the stock fuel maps, if thats what you wanted. You need to make sure you have an eprom ecu first and have it socketed also. You want to get a stage 3 so you dont have to upgrade later? Well if your really into modding your car, sooner or later your gonna be putting in a set of bigger injectors and you'll already have a chip setup for 450's and you'll then again have to get another chip to match your new injectors. Get where I'm going? Pass on this mod, your not the least bit close to being ready for it.

Yes, you can run a stage 3 chip with stock injectors. I ran a stage 3 TMO chip with my stock 450's for 2 years. The dsmchips are only $100 anyway. When ordering, make sure you tell him you want it for stock 450's and you want 3-step (trust me, you'll love it). Down the road, when you upgrade injectors, just fork over another $100 and have a new chip made. Then sell your old on on eBay......

1. Within the same stage chip the upgrade is $20.
2. To counter people copying his chips and selling them there is no support for non-original owners. Considering how much knowledge Jeff has provided the community, nobody in their right mind is going to support an aftermarket in DSMchips either.

I just got this car, before i had a 2g gst with the supporting mods. ive kept most of the things i have bought for it. i still have my safc2. could i trick the ecu in anyway with the bigger fuel injector compensation with the safc or not? thanks
