Wot Knock

Our cars don't have a "knock light". You need a logger or DSMlink to check for knock. Even then, since you are a 2g, you can only look for timing retard that's caused by knock.

From your mods it looks like you haven't really started to do anything that would cause lots of knock in your car. If you upgrade your turbo and fuel system and up the boost is the time you have to worry about knock, and by that time you should have a way to control fuel and log your system, either a pocketlogger or DSMLink. Also, when I tuned my car I never really "felt" anything when it knocked. If you want a knock light I suggest looking into DSMLink, with it you can set your CEL to turn on when it detects so many counts of knock.

I'm pretty sure a boost leak or even a heat soaked sidemount can cause knock.
