I was having problems with idle and all sorts of problems. I switched to SD and did some runs and was running very rich at WOT. I was getting about 1.5 degrees of knock with the rich AFR. I messed with some VE adjust and did the SD WOT tune from the excel sheet and also changed all the 9.9 afr's in the openloopmaxoct to 10.9's. Now I'm hitting 12 degrees of knock and 13 afr's at WOT. I'm about to give up. Someone wanna tune my car for me and send me an ECM file? I appreciate any help.

Also, the vacuum line kept coming off when in high boost from the Vacuum T at the BOV. That's the reason for the -5 vacuum.

Well, you need to richen it up some the same way you leaned it out. Not that hard. What were your a/f ratios when you had your openloopmaxoct table set to 9.9?
 
I was hitting 9.8 and low 10's with them set to 9.9. I tracked the log and it showed 9.9 so I changed them to 11.1 and then after the WOT was lean I re-tracked the log and it showed that it was using the 12.1. Why would it change to a different number in the table. Shouldn't it track the same path?
 
I'm about to just get rid of this car and be done with it. I have tried to get a decent tune on it but it keeps throwing me curve balls. I adjust the cells tracked by the datalog and my next pull uses completely different cells. I can't get my idle dialed in so my wideband is all over the place. Taking off from stop signs I gotta feather the throttle. The car wouldn't even start with the stock VE table. I have tried using the excel spreadsheet by turbosax2 over on ecmlink to no avail. I actually got the spreadsheet down but it seemed that the values didn't help or I'm doing something wrong. I tried using the VE adjust from the combined fuel trims but it doesn't seem to help. To top it off, someone stole my oil cap off and I'm using a stock one with a bad seal so I'm gettin oil all over.
 
Sorry to hear of your misfortune but satisfaction does not come easy with these machines. I too did not know what to do to make things line up. If you look in the classifieds under freelancers, you will find one about tuning. A gentleman by the name of Dacowgod (Ricky Nichols who is featured on the front page of the forums) offers a tuning service to the community via the internet. I have been using his service and I am very pleased with it. He will do anything he can to help you and get you on the road with a good tune to say the least. Hey thanks for the reply. I'll keep that in mind. At the moment I don't have funds for anything. Car needs a new strut and front suspension parts and wheel alignment and paint job and side skirts and all sorts of things but with a dsm u gotta have like 3 jobs just to keep up.
