Hey im planing on getting a 10" sub and and amp for my talon. I was wondering wich one is the best to buy i was looking at the Audiobahns. HELP MEEEE!!! Also what am i looking for in a good Sub and Amp.

I wanna spend like around 400 or so maybe a littel less. Just tell me whats the best AudioBahn Sub and a good amp i can get for the least amount of money.

a boston acousticd G2 10" sub $149
boston acoustics GT20 amp -$299

it's 50 bucks over your budget, but will demolish anything audioblah has to offer. excellent quality amp will last SEVERAL years to come. Extremely clean and very well built. the G2 subs are just simply amazing for a budget sub. they walk all over the jl 12w3v2's, no joke. for the money you won't find a better sub. if you don't believe me, go to www.bostonacoustics.com and find your nearest dealer. have a listen

i jsut noticed you're from OP. i believe sante fe auto sound may still carry boston acoustics, they used to but i'm not sure now. i know for a fact that kief's in lawrence carries boston. brandsmart may as well, but i never got a good vibe in that place. i'd check out kief's, on the cornere of iowa and 23rd street

I use nothing but Quart speakers. Amps all sound the same to me. Maybe I'm partially deaf.

you can get a mono profile amp for under 100 bux that cant really be touched for the price, look at thezeb.com at the profile ca400m amp. then youre going to want to look for a single 4ohm sub. if youre looking for a good sub for a decent price(round $100) i would say something like an infinity perfect or a kicker compvr then after that youlll need a wire kit and a sub box. if you have factory door speakers you should also plan on upgrading those in the future if you dont want your system to sound sloppy. good luck and let us know if you have any more ?s

Nothing listen except maybe the boston will touch the K series as far as value per dollar goes. Have someone build you a ported box for your K series, and give it power through a JBL 600.1 amp and you will be in heaven!!!!!!!

2 Infinnity 12's...the 120.VDC or watever their called 300watt RMS each = $220
Power Acoustik 1200 watt (600 RMS) amp = $150

total = $370...just dont buy it from Etronics.com.....Sounddomain is the way to go

will it work? sure.

will it sound good? nope.

don't waste your money on that junk. all you'll be buying is shiny chrome paperweights. for 30 bucks more that boston G2 10" sub will walk alllllllllllllllllllll over that audiobahn and play 1000x cleaner.

as for the amp, audiobahn amps are notorious for throwing a lot of DC through to the subs. i've seen more than one sub blown because an audiobahn amp from CC was throwing straight DC to the sub. not a pretty sight seeing a sub completely locked up at the voice coil. check out directed or viper amps if you're looking for a good bang for the buck. very reasonably priced, and don't do too bad.

Pink-I just wanted to knw how the audiobahns were because ive heard so much about them im new to subs. Also if your not goin to help me why are u in here. I asked for help not some one asking me why i want this and why i want that.

no that wont work. that amp is meant to power 4 speakers, see where it says 75 x 4?you want to look for a "mono" amp.

Hit up ebay, look for a good seller with about 1000+ feedback and try to find a 400w 2ch rockford fosgate amplifier and a 12" Kicker CompVR Sub, that should get ya bumpin pretty good for a damn good price. Ebay is the place to go for everything.

I under stand about the multi sub amp but will a 2 channel amp work for 1 sub. Or do i haft do use a mono amp if i only have one sub?

if you will look at post 11, you will clearly see that i gave you a reccomendation.

The sub and amp you listed will work, but it won't be the best option.

You're going to want to look for a single channel Mono amplifier to push a single sub. A 2 channel will do it, but it will not be efficient (will get hot), and will not give as much power as a mono amp of the same price.
You are going to want to find a sub box that has the internal airspace of that recommended by the sub you get.

Funny thing is i had just backed out and i was in the middel of the parking lot talkin to my freind about what sub he had. So i need some good new so brighten my day.
