Wont Wot!!

Can I get help?? My 1g eclipse just can seem to do a WOT. If i rev throttle gradually all is well but when I do the wide open throttle the engine begins to buck, revs begin to drop to 500 rpm, back fires sound in the air filter, and gradually (like 5 to 8 seconds) the revs begin to climb. By the time I hit 3000 rpm, everythings smoothens out and I can rev up to red liine without any problem. I put in new plugs, wires check out OK. cleaned out the TB, what am I not doing??

check your maf, tps and probably your fuel filter..........also check your spark plug gaps............hotwheels of turborides

Check your throttle position closed switch to see if its getting a proper ground.
