i read the vfaq and searched the forums but didnt see anything like my problem. i put a 6 bolt in my 95 talon and i got it to run ok but the idle is very rough. when i start the car the rpm goes up to 2500 and then dies out. the car seems to just turn itself off, theres not sputtering or anything like that. its as if i just turned the key off. when i keep the car running by giving it gas it warms up and goesgoes down to a very low idle, at times it goes down to the poin where the battery light comes on; when it goes that low it is typically followed by idle surge which goes upto about 2500 rpm then it goes back down. sometimes it even stalls. ive had more than a few peopel look at it but know one can figure it out. i dont know if it has anything to do with it but itruns the same way when i unplug the maf, isc and tps. when i adjust the BISS screw it changes nothing. also im using a 2g intake manny with a 1g t-body (i need the senor on the mani to past emissions. i dont know if that could be whats causing my trouble. any help would be great. thanks.

Charcoal is right about the coolant temp, but like you read in the vfaq, there are many variables when curing idle issues. You might want to test your ISC if you get a chance. A faulty isc can screw with you as well, and the fact that your BISS has no effect leads me to question the ISC. Also, when you do a 6 bolt swap with a 2g ecu, there are differences with the cas signal. This can also cause a rough idle. Many people cure that with the invert cas option on dsmlink.
GOOD LUCK!!!

ok, thanks guys, i have some more stuff to check today.it is a new coolant temp sensor though so i dont think that will be it. ill post again tonight with my results. hopfully they will be good, i made a sacrifice to the dsm gods last night so hopefully they will be pleased with me. LOL

If you unplug the MAf ISC and TPS and the car runs the exact same with them off as on,wouldnt that be the first place to start?
