Ok i just got my 92 eclipse running after a long build/rebuild. The car will idle fine on a cold start up and i can drive it down the road and at a stop sign it will idle ok when the clutch is in. When it warms up and gets to operating temperature MIL comes on and it wont idle when in neutral/clutch engaged. Coolant temp guage reads normal but it just wont idle. I have to feather it at every light and stop sign to keep it running. Anyone with this problem or know whats wrong??

Ok so I turned off the check engine light. Turns out I had a small vacuum leak and i fixed it so the light is not on. The idle problem is still present and every now and then the coolant light will come on. Other than that the car does ok besides suspension issues that are being addressed.

The coolant light is your overflow container being low. Add some coolant and the light will stay off.

As for the idle issue, sounds like your Base Idle isn't set properly
