ok its a brand new motor built forged, head , cams, pte turbo, 880 inj, stock mas, dsm chip,car ran fine on last motor

the problem is the car wont idel I cant even set the ignition timing
1000k to 1500 is all i can get out of it. I checked the MAS, TPS, BISS, compression in case of bad valves, checked the injectoers, unplugged afc and respliced the KARM wires, boost leak tested, switched out MBC, also tryed a stock ecu and it has same problem so ECU is good

pretty much im lost never had a problem like this i could'ent diagnose within a day just looking for a couple idea's or somthing i may have over looked. The thing that drives me crazy is it starts and will hold a 1500 rpms and sounds good and clean, but i let go and it dies i give it gas and it dies. it ran with all same bolt ons, on last motor with no problem nothing has changed except longblock.
 
I would agree you need to up grade the mass air flow asap. It ran fine with the smaller injectors. Since you got 880's and a built block. I would upgrade that and go from there.
 
I think you need to rechip the eprom if you're using the same chip where you ran the 510cc. As I have heard when you go more than 660cc eproms have problems running on an afc.. You do need a fuel pressure regulator and pump.

Make sure your sparkplug and coilpack are config. right.
 
it has dsm chip set up for 1g mas and 880 injectors, aeromotive FPR set at 37psi, and 255 pump, i got a buddy comming over this weekend with ODB1 computer to check it out. after thinking about it i think it is the MAS im goin to swap it out today and see if it runs any better. If i have no luck there i think im goin AEM and getting rid of MAS. Thanks for info ill post tonight, if i figure it out.
 
I got it broken wire on the tps connector TEST AND TUNE TIME thanks for the replys
