hi there
i have a 98 eclipse N/T, with a 5 speed transmission. When driving i can go into all gears fine driving normaly, but when i take off from a light or just high acceloration i cant get the car into second gear. Anything over 4k the shifter will go down into gear, but the car will just rev untill i take it out and let the rpms drop and then it goes in flawlessly. Its the same way for 4th gear. So im guessing it could be the tanny cables are getting stretched since its the 2 bottom gears? If it is does anyone know where i can get 420a manual tranny cables, bc i cant find new ones anywhere, all i can find is turbo cables. if anyone has any ideas please help. thanks
