Im not 100% sure about what boost its running or what the current HP to the wheels are or even what is safe. I plan on doing a turbo swap to probly a GT35r.

I'm coming from the g35/350z world and am looking to compete with my buddies Twin Turbo G35 and Single Turbo g35.

My Goals are to be a daily driven high 11's low 12's car.

I know that on their boost they are near the mid 12's.

What im looking to do next is add bigger injectors (720cc) and add a hks blow off valve as soon as i get the car.

What im looking for is the following.

What Power can the stock block hold?

Can i achieve a low 12 second car with a stock block and my current mods including the injectors and BOV?

What PSI can i boost safley on my current set up with the bigger injectors?

How much power will i be looking at?

At what point do internals need to be rebuilt on this car?

Were is my car most likley at with my current mods?

Were will i stand against the boosted g's and z's?

Basicaly im looking for my limits on the stock block with my current mods. I plan to swap out to a GT35r and head for 600whp +.

My friend has a twin turbo 350z that easily puts down 800-900rwhp+. You're pretty far from taking on twin turbo z/g35.

If you're looking for 600whp+ you need to go bigger turbo and a couple of things more; afpr, at least 1000cc injectors, built bluebrinted/honed block which includes pistons, rods, heads, definitely need new strong clutch, flywheel, new transmission, dsmlink, etc...

But as now with the current mods, you're capable 12s.

LOL 900 rwhp he must be lieing to you =] i know the top tuners in the counrty and only two have hit that mark for a daily driver. Most twin turbo out of the box make 350-420rwhp. Add another 10,000 and then 500+ is achieveable. A 500hp TT z is a low 11's high 10's car

With my set up and the injectors what boost can i run and what HP # should i expect as well as the Quarter times.

This is called "bench racing" and is frowned upon.

high 12's if you pretty much have every other upgrade on the stock block.
but if you do your internals and some drivetrain stuff these cars hit 11's pretty easily.
the best way to tell where your at is to research this site, find some people with a set-up close to yours. Then go and find people who run low 11's and compare. If your into tuning though you'll know that people can't just tell you how to run low 11's it's not about the parts you buy it's how you put them together and tune them.

It's true. He spent over 50 grand on the car and put twin gt30rs. Basically it is a new design engine and transmission. Nobody wants to touch. All he has to go on is bikers. That's what Calif street racing is all about.

Most twin turbo out of the box make 350-420rwhp.

It sure would stupid to put spend a lot of $ for twin turbos for 400rwhp for a gain of 150rwhp.

Stock block is good for up to four digit outputs. Cast iron isn't exactly weak, and no sleeved cylinder BS to worry about.

Aside from that, put it together, put it on a dyno and run it. Only way to know. It's all about your tune... can have the most expensive parts in the world, and with a shit tune you can make WAY less than stock output.

Previous owner was an idiot, tossing in a 255 with no AFPR. People say they can run fine with one, but never happen to actually check their fuel pressure. It just seems like it runs okay.

And make sure you get the recirculation kit for that SSQV.

That's what Calif street racing is all about.
Honestly... I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I call BS... And LoL @ saying he needs heads ROFL

I believe that I saw a 350Z losing to a Porsche. That's about it. And some commentary from the passenger, without zooming in on the speedo. Nothing more. Not even a dyno sheet.

As he said above though, very few tuners have hit the kind of mark you tossed out, for the car you named, as a DD. It's even a little less believable, given that in the same breath you're talking about CA street racing, and a 'new design' engine AND tranny, which unless this guy lives uptown, is going to cost him a good chunk of whatever he makes in a year. And usually that type don't know how the hell to drive their cars, so it doesn't really matter how much they have under the hood.

It sounds like hot air. Might just be how it's coming out, but there it is.

He can run ~12 PSI or so in boost because he has a 3.5L. Youre going to need about 30 PSI to reach that on a 2.0L.

Stock blocks have been known to push 400 HP.

I see your advantage to be AWD.

This thread is going down the toilet and will more than likely be closed for bench racing.

Build a car because you want to, not just to beat someone else. You must have deep pockets.

Thats all I have.
