Wiseco Piston Ring Order??????

I just want to double check before I set My gaps. These are Weisco HD pistons with the XX ring set. Is the Top Ring Silver and the Second ring Is the Black one Correct???? Just want to make sure. Im setteing the gaps to 19 and 22 as well. Thanks in advance for clearing this up.

Well thanks for trying to help me out I stopped building it a few hours ago because I received 7 bolt pistons when I bought 6 bolt I will get it straight when I talk to them on the phone.

In my Wiseco piston set, the black is the top ring (thickest) and the sliver is the 2nd (thinner). aka.. OPPOSITE of how you have it posted.

Shiny ring is the top. It's a different material. Also, the second ring is napier cut.

They made it kind of idiot proof The secound ring is thicker than the first ring therefore the second ring will not fit in the top ring grove.

My thoughts exactly.. They kind of only go in one way.. Just remember the sharp edge goes down! The instructions that come with the rings should show you pretty little pictures!

Yes, each ring set came with pictures and on my rings (1400 HD) 150 was printed on one side of the ring. This side of the ring is suppose to face the top.
