i got to UWM, here right now actually. red tinted windows, GS badge and a huge front mount. I'll keep an eye out, or maybe two.

Andy, what you do to your car? Why you giving up? You ran good against my friends Blue WRX awhile back.

Anyone know of any DSM AWD dyno tuning shops? AMS is 2wd and GRD is hesitant to do it. Anyone know of anyone else?

there is a place in madison that might be toying with upgrading their dyno into and AWD one.

Who??? Dynotuned, yeah right they they can't even tune right, why would they need one.

ya dynotuned. they tried to rape me on my Downpipe, i was a little mad. One of my friends is having his SVX there to get an engine swap. i was happy with them when i got my catback, but then when i went for the downpipe they quoted me a price that was like 30 bucks less that what i paid for the catback...anyway i just heard that they were thinking about upgrading to an AWD dyno.

Cant rape the willing biatch! I would consider myself an intentionally ignorant person, different than someone who is used to getting raped heh

It wouldn't suprise me... There just another company tryn to make money off who ever they can. Now this is just my opinion on Dynotuned, so nobody try to take offense. I rember when Kurt opened dynotuned, he thought getting a dyno would be the advantage over the other local shops. Which in case it was, but he didn't know anything about engine swaps, he hired praticlly anyone who could do swaps. Which from what I seen hasn't gone the best. I know of 2 cars that where BAD swaps, that the motor wouldn't even start after the swap, and the donor cars that had the motors where good when they came out. :thumbdown

one was a blue crx (si paint job, b18a) owned by some mexicans. this car was worked on for 8 months until it was just parted out.

2nd is a red crx owned by some white kid that has b16a1 swap done to it, that the poor kid spent 3600 dollars for the swap and it was soppose to take 3-5 days, the car has been sitting for almost 6 months now. They also can't start it???

Now the last time I went there (i admit i do go there to be dynoed) they have the Tibeaten (i can't spell) crew working there, from which the last i knew of most of them where car thieves. (in know way am I applying that Tibetens are car thieves just this group of guys)
I dunno what im realy try to imply about Dyno Tuned, except that I would look at other options before I went there.

Anyways, how much where they charging you for a downpipe? and who makes it??? I bought mine from Road Racing Engineers (2.5 at the o2, to 3in all the way down to the cat-back it has a cat extender so no cat) $235 buxs shiped. And I bought my APex cat back for $550 from Customcar Works here in madison.

It was the Apexi downpipe, i wanted the N1. WEll not kurt but another guy called their supplier and he said 495 and i shit myself. Since i bought my N1 catback from kurt for 465 total. It seems like every time i go there, there are different people working on the cars every time. The only person that is the same is Bo if you know him. Anyway, they ended up giving me the GT Downpipe instead of the n1 dp. What other shops are in madsion that i could trust doing stuff to my car?

This is my opinion take the 200 that you are going to drop into labor and buy a metric tool set. Then take the stuff apart on your own this way you get two things free knowledge and accomplishment of doing your own stuff. Also you may be able to understand your car alil more and save a shit load of money ffrom paying the monkeys at the shop.

just remember, taking shit apartis easier than putting it back together:p

Well i already do the things myself, that i am capable of. Otherwise i would rather find someone that will help me do it, that way id learn. Im taking about bigger projects, like maybe an engine swap or things of that caliber, that i would not have the means, nor the expertise to do myself.

Just thought I would put it out there that if anybody sees a red GSR with a carbon fiber hood on it and a sticker on the front window that says A+ foreign please get as much info as you can since it is my friends and was stolen from his work Friday. I know the car is probably already chopped and gutted, but just in case I thought I would put it out there. It was taken from brookfield area and who knows where it is now. :thumbdown

damn stolen!?! Sorry for your friend, can't believe it happened in Brookfield. I'll definately keep an eye out, I'm always driving either for work or school. I think i'd go to the nut house if someone jacked my stuff, considering insurance won't cover aftermarket performance.

yeah, I know I couldn't believe it either, right in brookfield. He is definately ging to lose out isnce he had a lot of money into the car. The system which was in it was near two grand alone. Sucks real bad. The good news, I otld him was this is a perfect chance to join the wonderful and friendly DSM commmunity leave the ricey honda clan.
