I live just south of the beltline off of Rimrock. I cruz east wash every once and a while. A white 92 TSI with black hood and 18" white rims. Waiting for my maf translater,3" mas and datalogger for it to run good. This week hopefully.

Anybody going to "Dropfest" next weekend? around appelton. I think I am, cruz night is going to some dragstrip. I think i'd be kinda fun to put some honda's to shame.

Mine only works on a 2g, but rookieupgrade1 has one for a 1g, and he lives around here.

Haven't checked this thread in a while. Nice to see you all have kept it going.

Mike, I do have a pocketlogger for a 1st Gen. What kind of trouble are you haveing? Maybe you can run out to my shop and we will hook it up and get you some data on it.

I don't cruise anymore..........did a little a couple months ago but I have too much work to do lately. (gotta pay for the toys ya know)

no trouble --yet--. I just got my 3" mas and maf translator today along with my datalogger. Going to install it tonight.
I never used a datalogger, so I thought i'd be nice to know someone in town that could help me read it if it's difficult.
I might be out later tonight if every thing goes well.

P.S. How long should I wait between stettings, so the ECU has time to adjust?

Anyone know where I can get a rubber 3" into 2.5" reducer (like a plumbing coupler) near or around town? Don't want to wait and order it.
I need it for my Mas, I want to do the "blow through" system. after the BOV and before the T.B.
It's a 3" Mas and a 2.5" upper intercooler pipe.

You could try any hardware store. In fact, I think Farm-N-Fleet will have them.

I think Silicone connectors would be a lot better though... You can get them at RRE.

How come nobody carries silicon hoses around here? I called acouple places and didn't know what i was talking about.

I probably will order from rre if I can't find anything around here. I want to run my car NOW, not 3-4 days from now, this sucks!!!

I'd be willing to drive just about anywhere to get these. Upto like 2 1/2 hours away. if you know anybody let me know.

Question on my datalog.

I got these reading for my fuel trims: %'s
low- 135-140
med- 192
high- 81

How do I set the maf translator? Ex. for high fuel trim would i goto #4 for 20% or c for -20%, to get it close to the 100%?

You'd go -20 (that's 4 clicks) to lean it out as the ECU is seeing the motor run too rich.

100 means the ECU is making no corrections to maintain a stoich ratio. Less than 100 the ECU is removing fuel to keep the ratio. Over 100 it is adding fuel.

Keep in mind that they represent trims during closed-loop operation (idle, cruising and light - moderate accel). They have absolutely no bearing at WOT. For WOT tuning go by knock, O2's, and EGT.
