Whats up everyone im from kenosha. I got a 90 TSI red. Pretty much stock right now but not for long.

I was wondering if any of you guys have a pocketlogger for a 2g, or know of anyone that has one.

I am having some messed up vibration/hesitation with my motor and an occasional backfire. I just wanted to use someone's logger for a minute to find out whats going on with my motor.

I have no idea what it is, my plugs and wires are less than 3 months old, no boost leaks, running 16psi. Close to stock, look at my profile.

Either that or anyone have any ideas?

Yeah, I turned the boost down to 16psi last night and it pretty much went away.

Im gonna try some new plugs and wires, there about 6 months old w/ 30k miles on em. so it cant hurt.

Especially after i drove with a big boost leak for 3 weeks, i probably fouled out my plugs.

What did you break? I got a bunch of 1g parts in my garage.

hey zerofreez, what 1g parts you got? wouldnt happen to have some 450's, 14b, 1g manual ehaust mani, manual cams, or 14b oil lines would you :D ?

hey zero, all i really need is the oil dipstick and oil cap but i could use a throttle body, the 14b, and the 14b oil lines

sorry, i cant part with the throttlebody and the dipstick or anything.

I need that cause the 6 bolt is gonna end up in my car. But i can party with everything on the exhaust side.

The 14b is very low miles. The motor came w/ 70k but it was an auto and he upgraded to the 14b about 6 months ago.

I got a spare dipstick or 3.

Do any of you guys know why my car might be missing at idle after i installed plugs and wires (both NGK)

I changed the plugs last night, put the old wires back on and it missed.

Came into town this morning, bought some NGK wires, put them on, and it still missed.

I have the plugs gapped at .030 and my car didnt mis at idle before i changed the plugs and wires.

This kinda crap drives me nuts.:barf:

Wierd, does it miss only at idle or at any RPM range? You put dielectric grease on the plugs/wires right? IM me.
