haha Not enough, all I have is hmm 550cc inj, intake, 1g bov, 1g TB, 255hp pump, safc, tt, mbc, my datalogger is on its way..

This is what i plan on buying.

Turbo
TurboBack
Intercooler piping
fpr

i only plan on spending around 2300 ish. Yes i realize i could buy a turbo a lot bigger with 2500 haha, But i wouldn't have the mods to support it

you could get all this from www.slowboyracing.com for about 2500$ SBR-g50,G57,G60 turbo 799.99,B&m FPR 59.99, 3" turbo back exhust, SBRfront mount kit 899.99 plus you would need the gaskets, and oil lines and thats it and you talking from 400-600hp depending what turbo you pick.

Lucky for me I found him on here and he was asking all about the problems and it was bad transaxle case was cracked and rewelded along with stripped out bolts on it along with many otehr things.

No this has nothing to do with there quality of work or there products, but it worries me when they are dishonest.

it looks like it gets a little lean in the higher rms but i don't think lean enough to blow the engine. What are u using to tune??

Here's my mods

EvoIII 16g ( ported/34mm flapper ) - EvoIII mani - Tubular o2 housing - SS oil line - FMIC - 2.25" IC pipes - MBC - Crushed cbv - 190 lph walbro - 580cc injectors - S-afcII - Pocketlogger - ACT 2600 - 2.5" turbo back exhaust (no cat) - Catch can - 3rd gen lifters - boost guage - Shift light - 18'' rims

Yeah I've been surprised at how lean I have been able to run it. I retarded the timing 2 or 3 degrees, soon after I installed the turbo/mani/o2 and it made a world of difference in my knock counts and a/f ratio I've been able to get away with. I think I do need to bump the fuel up slighlty from about 6k and up. .88v isn't to bad for running 17 psi on 92 octaine. I think I'm cheating death a bit there :sneaky: Usually I would get more knock at .92v on the 14b.

U are usig a 1 volt O2 hey. MY best suggestion is to get a wideband and it is crazy how you can get alot more out of it. As for the more knock on the 14b that is weird specialy at .92v that is pretty rich. The bad thing is more retard on the timing the not so much performance haha. Bump up the fuel a bit and see if you can advance the timming alittle. Also can you see what duty cycles your injectors are running. That might aid us in the tunning department. They might be pretty high since you are running so lean. J

I'll probably get around to having it dyno tuned, when I stop changing parts on the motor. IMO I'd rather do that that for cheaper than spend the money on a wideband. You are right, my duty cycle is getting up there, but I think I just have it tuned a bit on the lean side. If not I will get a AFPR. I will not be adding any timing into the mix however. You can gain power ( or knock) by advacning timing, or leaning out your a/f ratios. Usually you have a little more room for error with the a/f ratios, and since I don't have control over my timing, besides setting base timing, it's the route I have to take at the moment. Plus using the afc w/ 580cc injectors, I was already running a bit more advanced timing than it's was supposed to. ;)

After finding out that spec gave me the wrong throw out bearing for my car last night, all progress stopped for the night, so a couple buddies of mine took the winter beaters to hwy 100 for a bit of fun. I almost cried when I saw a pretty nice look white 1g get his a$$ handed to him by a camaro since the kid could not launch for the life of him. It was definately american muscle night, there were tons of camaros and firebirds. the best part of the night was watching a mustang hit some kids scooter in the road and it looked as if it ripped the exhaust off the mustang. thanks for the fix!! I'll see you guys on the 10th, hopefully I can get this new turbo on!

Need help. And if any one is looking for a S-afc2 or a AVC-R I just bought a dsmlink and need to sell them let me know my email is [email protected] :talon:

why waste your time and money on the GM MAFT? Screw that thing and go buy something that will actualy make the car faster.

Do a boost leak test first. It doesn't sound like it's misfiring, unless you failed to mention that. Next, do the plugs, then the wires. Doesn't sound like a fuel issue to me, unless you did some adjusting recently. Running rich will have a similar effect.

on the other hand i would highly recommend the MAFT. you may want to mount it in the cockpit though to make tuning easier. check out our website. 12.0 on a 16g and 11.4 with a BR440. compression challenged original high mileage motors. the MAFT and the Keydiver chip make for a wicked combo :thumb:

how do you do a boost leak test? And its running rich because I dont have a FPR and I have 650cc injectors

a new MAFT because my MAF on my car now is shot. and why by something just to spend more money on the same thing later,

Just got done putting in a spec stage three clutch 6 puck and a fidanza flywheel. When I push in the clutch it doesn't seem to be very hard as I suspected it to, actually it is almost as nothing is there, its very easy, is this correct. I haven't driven it yet, but it disengages fully and seems to engage fully as far as I can tell.

Happy Easter dsm brothers, and the one sister(sarah) that is never on.

Hippi my car left the my garage today and seems to be all gravy after the new clutch and flywheel install. Time to put on some miles. :thumb:
