Well thought my ecu was fried but i bought another and the problem persists. Started out my cams got off timing and i busted an exhaust valve and trasked the 2ghead on my 95 TSI. decided to do the 1g head swap so i found the 1g head had it ported and got the cas. took it to one guy and he put the head on for me and told me i needed the waterpipe and it would be ready to go. picked the car up and trailered it home and went by the junkyard got everything and hooked it all up. went to crank it and it wouldnt run at all. this was done by a dealership mechanic that by dad knows. he also wired it up and followed the road race engineering instructions to do this so idk what the prob was. took it to a real mechanic and he told me there was no way to make a 1g head work on the 2g motor b/c of the cam angle sensor. well he welded up a bracket to use the 2g cam angle sensor for me. 400 dollars later it runs better but still wont idle. you crank it up and it wont stay cranked but you can give it gas and keep it running but it surges up to bout 5k or so and then goes back down unless you keep giving it gas. i drove it home through the back roads so it is drivable just dont know what the deal is. He said the only thing it could be is the ecu got fried thus leading me to buy another ecu and it runs the exact same. I talked to him again and asked him if somehow the wires that go into the connectors that plug into the ecu may have got mixed up when someone was switching out the pins for the injectors and he said that was most likely my prob. so i went and copied it down on paper so i can see if yall can diagnose my problem. sorry its soooo long but i figured it'd be easier to understand my situation if you knew what all has gone on. on the diagrams i have below i copied the page out of my chiltons manual and the ecu pinouts with the color of wire that is in the connectors that i drew. please help me i got to get this thing running. name your price
