something is draining the battery when the car is running, its fine when its off without the key in it, but when ever you play with the ground wire (connecting it and deconnecting it) it sparks, meanings something is drawing current when the car is off, if you pull the ground off the battery the car shuts off. where would a good place to look for a wire short, also the fuses are all good.

There is always a drain when the car is off. The clock, radio memory and computer all take power so a spark doesn't tell you anything. Do a search for parasitic drain on here and it will explain how to search for the circuit that is draining power. Also, the battery could be no good and just won't hold a charge. Pull it out and take it to your local jobber store, they will likely test it for free.

apperntly the battery is less then a year old, i just got the car 3 weeks ago and it just started doing this like 2 days ago, and also i hear a bunch of other things click when i touch the ground.

not that i know of.. the engine is completely stock so if it comes stock with the alt.

I agree with hhuricane. You might want to check your alternator connection. Mine was loose causing it to not charge properly. Are you battery terminals still in good shape?

Start pulling fuses one at a time and then remove/reinstall the ground wire. When you notice a substantially smaller spark then you probably found the system that is giving you the problems.

Andrew you were right my wires connecting to the alternator where corroded( or however you spell it) and one fell out and was barely in and another one was making a connection, and only one was in there good Lmao
