Window Regulators

The motor on my Passenger side window went bye bye last week. Will a drivers side motor work or do I have to purchase the whole regulator and its exclusive for each side?

The power window motors on most vehicles are side specific. DSM's should be the same way. Try going to the junk yard and pulling on out of another DSM.

Be sure it's the motor before you replace it because it could just be the switch. It just happened to me. Just attach the motor to the battery and see what happens.

AFAIK, the regulator assy and motor are only sold as an assembled unit. There are RH and LH parts.

Definately run a test on the window motor like someone else stated, and yes the window motors are side specific. If you dont want to get one from a junk yard PM me because i have a brand new passenger side window motor assy. If you buy them brand new they will run you roughly 160$.
