i got a 98 gst sypder, the window on the passager side when fully down, slams up against the inside of the door when the door is pushed closed, sounds like the window a loose what could be the problem and what could be a solution? :dsm:

You have to take the interior door panel off and there are adjustment screws for the window. If i remember correctly they are gold colored and I know a few are at the upper part of the door panel.

there is a FAQ on the fix for this somewhere. look for "2G window rattle fix"

There is a plastic piece at the bottom of the window somewhere that needs to be re-tightened. I cant remember if it's in the center on on the left side. it is however behind the door panel.

hey thanks guys, i told my cousin my problem and she got her best friends dad who owns a window shop to do it for me plus my rear defogger broke out of the window so might as well fix both problems and get both fixed, but if it does happen again i now know what to do.. thanks :D
