I need to limp my car to a shop with the turbo not connected to the intercooler piping. Will this damage the turbo?

Honestly, you should tow it, but if you have to move it, try what I said. I did this for about a mile when I had to.

. But i have been driving around with the stock plastic intake with 3.5 gm maf on my TB since i dont have the blowthrew couplers because im spending money on fixing the intercooler. Im just hoping that i get something to fly into the turbo so i can have an excuse to buy a new bb60-1 or a fp3065

That will cause the wastegate flapper to remain open all the time and it should cause most of the exhaust to bypass the turbine wheel, thereby relieving the turbo of most of it's operational duty.
External wastegate..... Ok, pop the top off and pull the spring out. It might not fully keep the turbo from working, but it definitely should keep it from overworking.Catbox_95 said:Check my mods - external wastegate, T3/T4 turbo. No actuator arm.
But good advice for those who read this that have stock turbos or internal wastegates.
