Yes I already know the fact that too big of an intercooler will be bad for me, yet it will only be for a month as next month I will be upgrading to the evoIII16g...

here is the kit: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...y=33742&item=7945735772&rd=1#ebayphotohosting.

Yet I just wanted to know will the j-pipe bolt right up to my 13b turbo... being automatic I just wanted to know if there was any difference... I just wanted to know if everything would bolt up thanks...

also what do you guys think about the quality of this kit... all and any input much appreciated...

THANKS DSMers for the help...

I'm not too sure on the fitment but you are on the right track with picking one of JR's kits. I have heard of a couple of guys running them here both 1g and 2g and I have heard nothing but great things about both the quality of the product and the customer service. Best thing I can think of is to contact JR himself and ask him. If nothing else the kits are made to order and if he needs a couple different bends I'm sure he would be more than willing to accomodate you. One of the guys on here was having trouble with his ic piping fitting so JR bent him all new pipes and shipped them out to him. I plan on picking one up for myself when I get to that stage. Good luck and let's here how it turns out.

No acctually you got that backwards. Too SMALL of an intercooler will hurt you. Pressure drop comes from an intercooler being too small and a restriction in the intake system. The larger the intercooler the better. That intercooler does not flow as much straight through as a straight piece of 2.25" pipe does so don't worry even being large like that it's more of a restriction in the system than the pipeing is.

Just buy the biggest intercooler you can afford and install it. Even with a small turbo it will only help you. There is no such thing as my turbo is to small for this intercooler, only my turbo is to big for this intercooler.
