Yup, those will clear any big brake kit that I know of. In fact, most 16" wheels will clear most big brake kits. And even some 15's are doable.

Doesn't the answer to the original question depend on which big brake kit you get? (Don't answer that; it's a tautology.) Is there a de-facto standard BBK for 2Gs such that original question can be answered? (That one you can answer.) If not and if people just like to grab the biggest brakes that they know use the same mounting points on the knuckle and have the right center-bore and bolt-spacing, then the answer could soon be 18"s if people start grabbing the front Brembos off an Evo X. The one bummer about trying to run an Evo X in stock autocross and rallycross classes is the need for 18s because of the front brakes.

One way to "test" whether a wheel will clear larger brakes is to see if people with stock Evos run them. What you need is that curve of the spokes. I know that the XXR 527 has a good curve to it, since people with Evo Xs run the 18" version with no problems.

So, you own the AEM BBK and a tape measure, but you're unable to tell me the diameter of the AEM rotor?

Yep thats right... I work a ton, and the car is sitting. I have only seen the car once. I bought it, sent a buddy to go get it. If it was at my house, i would measure. But the HOA frowns apon broken down cars in front of the house or in the garage.

I have the AEM (Brembo) bbk with the four piston calipers and its BIG. The 17" rims I have are barely clearing.
