Will Megasquirt Work With a 420A/Auto?

Hmm, good question. Yes you can get a MegaSquirt to communicate with your transmission. I don't know what all you can do with it yet since last I read it was still in BETA Testing. You can contact DIYAutoTune and ask them more specific questions about what you need, or want to do.

If you just want to know if it will work to replace your OEM ECU, in an auto DSM and not to control the transmission, yes but it isn't exactly "plug and play".

He's asking for a 420A. DIYAutoTune doesn't deal with 420A applications.

Okay, so maybe call Paul at SymTech Labs, or RS Autosport.

umm, you really wouldn't need to use a MegaSquirt for a stock engine. You won't get too much performance out of it, maybe some fuel/spark mods but nothing much.

it's really for if you plan on boosting your car in the future. otherwise if not, you won't really need it.

It's not really specific for boost... It's a stand alone ECM designed to work with engines. You can use them on any engine application you want. People ususally use them on their boosted engines due to the fact they can control so much more with them. If you want to use it on a 420a you can, just requires the wiring, and then setting it up to work with your equipment.

sorry that's what i meant, if you plan on going boosted it's the best ecm to get for your car. thank you for the correction :)
